DESIGN-ENGINE|EDUCATION and ANSYS, Inc. Announce Training Partnership

Chicago & Boston – Product Design Training Expert DESIGN-ENGINE|EDUCATION today announced a partnership to teach their innovative Workflow-Based FEA curriculum in the powerful and popular software, ANSYS® Mechanical™.

“This represents a great opportunity for us to share our innovative curriculum” says FEA Instructor, Jim Shaw. “Our focus is on the workflow, and how Finite Element Analysis (FEA) fits into the overall design process for product designers and design engineers. The teaching is not focused on the actual button clicks themselves, but what is happening in the background.”

ANSYS is excited to work with Design Engine to help enable more users to take advantage of our powerful engineering simulation solutions,” said Rick Lounsbury, Director of training for ANSYS.

Currently, Design Engine is offering a 5-Day “Intro to FEA in the ANSYS Workbench™ Environment” class which can be taught at their dedicated training facility in Downtown Chicago, or on site at companies around the globe.

Details of the curriculum can be found here, and is completely customizable to meet the specific needs of companies and
students. For more information, contact Steve Glochowsky at Design Engine via phone – 312.226.8339 or email – steve(at)designengine(dot)com.
