AFTERBURN: ANSYS vs. MECHANICA: An Afterwork User Meeting

AFTERBURN: ANSYS vs. MECHANICA

On August 27th Design Engine will be hosting another AFTERBURN gathering at our downtown Chicago Studio. This month we will be discussing ANSYS vs. MECHANICA.  We look forward to anyone that would like to join us on Tuesday August 27th at 7:00pm. These meetings are free of charge. Pizza and drinks will be provided.

We will discuss major differences to using both plus advantages and disadvantages between the two programs. We teach both so our effort will be to share strengts of either in a positive light.  These Tuesday after work presentations at Design-Engine’s West Loop Studio (afterwork = afterburn) are  from 6:00 to 9:00 PM (Tuesday, August 27th) and hope to offer shared resources, conversations, networking, and maybe a resume or two.

Theme:
We have found that because of the recession proactive companies can spend money on FEA tools to do it right the first time. Tooling changes are expensive and seldom budgeted for. With the proper FEA your project can save millions in the end due to less changes made in tooling. Let us help you champion these tools within your organization. Bring your questions and an empty stomach.

The ultimate goal of the planned Afterburn is to help 3D Professionals, industrial designers, mechanical engineers, draftsmen,‬ ‪mechanics, and game designers increase their skills and capabilities with Engineering,‬ ‪Industrial Design, Pro/Engineer, Alias, Solidworks, Maya, Adobe, Rhino, Creo‬ 2,0, and more. Our rigorous methodology gives students one-on-one instruction from highly-qualified mentors.

Ansys has many more modules to choose from. In the end you can spend a great deal more on Ansys.
