SolidWorks Simulation Level 2: Premium Dynamics Workshop

Course Duration: 24 hours (3 days)

Overview: This class focuses on an in-depth investigation of the dynamic response of structures using the Solidworks Simulation Premium software. We’ll simulate spline sweeps, saw-tooth shock profiles, and power spectral density graphs. We’ll learn how to optimize the strength-to-weight ratio of our designs by reviewing mode shapes, resonant frequencies, and stresses & deflections. Ultimately, we’ll investigate fatigue and learn how to calculate the lifetime of our designs. As always, our focus will be on workflow and how it mimics that of the validation testing we conduct in real life.

Prerequisites: SW Sim Level 1 — or relevant experience
