UrgoNight Headband

We live in a world that is constantly “go!, go!, go!” and where sleep comes at a premium. Since sleep and relaxation is hard to comeby in our often hectic world, it is extremely important that the sleep you are getting is the best it can possibly be. That’s where UrgoNight comes in. UrgoNight is “the first non-invasive daytime brain training solution for a better sleep.” UrgoNight uses a combination of an electroencephalogram (EEG) measurement device and personalized brain exercises in an accompanying cellphone application. This device offers the capabilities and technology that were previously only available in sleep clinics at the comfort of your own home. The user is supposed to wear the device for 20 minutes a day, three times a week for three months. UrgoNight claims that it will help users fall asleep 40% faster and reduce the number of times a user wakes up in the middle of the night by 53%. The UrgoNight is currently available for preorder on their website and deliveries are expected to start by the end of 2019.

LG Signature OLED TV R9

Not all people love having a large black television be the center of their living room and LG created a unique solution to this problem: a rollable 4K television. LG designed their rollable television with the idea in mind that people will now be able to have a television in their room when they want it and then hide it when they do not want it. The concept seems relatively simple, but LG has been able to engineer a 65-inch rollable television screen that can be rolled up into an accompanying sleek and stylish base. The television also offers a feature where you can roll the screen down 75% of the way leaving a small bar of screen. This is called “Line Mode” and allows user to still access the functionality of playing music r using the screen like a clock. LG initially released their prototype at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in early 2018, and the real product is expected to hit the market as soon as this Spring.

Biopod DownWool Nature Bag

No zippers, no plastic, nothing synthetic. German-based company, Gruezi Bag, released the Biopod DownWool Nature sleeping bag that is made of entirely natural materials. The bag comes equipped with an adjustable width and hood to ensure that the sleeping bag fits perfectly. The sleeping bag also has a “facebuffle” which forms a softer insulation transition to the face and presents the loss of heat. The bag also offers users the option of installing an electric heating bag to keep the bag even warmer. The bag is insulated using DownWool, an innovative high-end filling that is 70% down and 30% wool. The DowlWool allows for maximum insulation and also makes the sleeping bag weigh significantly less (an important aspect for those backpackers using the sleeping bag while hiking!) The Biopod DownWool Nature Bag won Product of the Year at the ISPO 2019 awards.

Select Ultimate iBall

SELECT has released the world’s first ever intelligent handball, the Ultimate iBall. Equipped with a built-in chip and KINEXON’s real-time tracking technology, the Ultimate iBall provides users with a variety of real-time data. Users are able to get instant feedback regarding their shot speed, distance and position the shot was taken from, and many more analytical features. This ball offers users and fans of the game an experience like no other. The capabilities of the iBall offers brand new insights into the game to the fans watching in the arena or at home. All of the captured data can be easily provided to TV stations and digital channels in real-time. In 2018, the iBall was used in the VELUX EHF FINAL4, where players, coaches and fans were able to get statistics on the game like never before. After the game, they received a lot of positive feedback for the SELECT Ultimate iBall. The Ultimate iBall has been awarded Product of the Year at the ISPO 2019 awards.

Beacon LED Tower

Lind Equipment has created award winning, man-portable LED tower light. The tower is advertised as a versatile, portable and affordable option for contractors. The Beacon LED tower offers the lighting power one would expect from a traditional 4x1000W metal halide light towers, but it has a unique twist. The tower is able to be stored in a compact, lightweight and man-portable package. When compacted, two Beacon LED tower lights can be stored in the back of a standard pickup truck. The light tower also uses 80% less electricity than a standard tower light. Two of the Beacon LED tower lights can be plugged into a single 15A outlet or a small 1000W generator and they also come with an external fuel tank that works as a small generator to power the lights for about 45 hours. At approximately half the cost of a traditional tower light and with an operating cost at around $0.10/hour, the Beacon LED Tower Lights are the affordable tower light option without having to sacrifice any functionality or power.
