Meet the New Boss, the Butter Boss

One thing we’ve never had is portable butter – that is, until now. The guys at Y Line Product Design have created a way to make butter-lovers happier than ever before. The “Butter Boss” has a variety of uses, is made of heat-resistant material (the same kind your spatula is made of,) is easy to use and clean, and even gives you the option to create your own flavored butters.

At Design Engine, we are all about using design to create things the world has never seen before, so naturally we are excited about new kitchen gadgets in-the-making. The inspiration for the Butter Boss came from the lack of options when it comes for carrying butter with you anywhere – without it melting and getting gross. On top of the Butter Boss being portable enough to take on camping and road trips, it is also a great tool to have for when you are cooking at home – indoors or outdoors. It will come in handy for grilling, especially when applying butter to the grill or everyone’s favorite, corn on the cob. Additionally, you can also purchase a “Butter Builder” that can mold any kind of butter into Butter Boss form and gives you the option to add other ingredients to make butter into unique flavors – certainly making it a great tool for entertaining guests any time of the year. What do yo think, will these features make the Butter Boss the next big kitchen gadget to have?

You check out some of the photos and video below and visit the ButterBoss.com to help back the Kickstarter campaign and be one of the first people to have your hands on this new gadget.
